What we collect
When you visit our website
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our website, such as which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, which device and browser they use, their approximate location (city level), and how they found us (for example, through Google Search or Instagram). Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not send your name, phone number or email to Google Analytics.
If we run advertising on Instagram or Facebook, we may also use the Meta Pixel to measure how well our ads work, for example whether someone who saw an ad later visited our menu page.
When you message us on WhatsApp
• Your WhatsApp phone number and profile name
• The messages and choices you send us, such as menu browsing and links you open
• Reservation details: date, time, number of guests and any requests
• Bungeo Passport loyalty details: your stamps, visits and tier
• Feedback you choose to share about your visit
When you dine with us
Your orders are recorded in our billing system. Card and UPI payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

• To run the Bungeo Passport loyalty programme and give you your rewards
• To reply to your messages and follow up on feedback
• To send you offers or updates on WhatsApp, only if you have opted in

We collect this information with your consent, which you give when you message us, make a reservation or join the Bungeo Passport, or because we need it to provide a service you asked for.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run Bungeo, and only as much as they need:
• Meta (WhatsApp Business): to send and receive WhatsApp messages
• Google: website analytics and business tools
• Our website hosting provider: to host and serve this website
• Netlify: hosting our WhatsApp, reservation and loyalty systems
• MongoDB: secure database storage for WhatsApp, reservation and loyalty records
• Our billing (POS) and payment providers: to process your orders and payments
We may also share information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our guests, staff or business. Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India, with appropriate safeguards in place.
Cookies
How long we keep it
We keep reservation and loyalty information for as long as you are an active guest or Passport member, and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed. Billing records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. Website analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your information safe, including access controls, secure (HTTPS) connections and limiting access to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly if something goes wrong.
Your rights

To stop WhatsApp offers, simply reply STOP to us on WhatsApp. For any other request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our website and WhatsApp services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without a parent’s or guardian’s consent. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will delete it.
